Job Description

Proper accounting & documentation of incoming material;

Issue of material to sites/sub-contractors and maintenance of sub-contractor wise issue register ;

Maintenance of stock registers and bin cards of all items and tools & Plants;

Lodge insurance claim for short/damage/theft materials and follow up with concern departments;

Physical stock verification of all items and reconciliation with book stock;

Provide the necessary information and reports to RCM/Site in-charge;

Co-ordination and reporting to SCM/Stores department at HO regarding details activities;

Perpetual stock verification of all items as decided (frequency of stock verification according to the class of items)

Desired Profile

B.Com / B.Sc. graduates OR Diploma in Engineering with Diploma in Materials Management and experience of minimum 5 - 20 years in depth experience in stores function pertaining to large value Infrastructure Project Sites with specific reference to Transmission Line Project Sites including material reconciliation, good communication skills, knowledge of insurance claim settlement  and computer skills are must (MS Word, MS Excel); Knowledge of ERP is desirable.
